AOL Users E-Mail Download Information
The following instructions show AOL users how to
download the Technical Analytics market information.
To
Download Technical Analytics from AOL
Go into your
e-mail and click on and open the “info@technicalanalytics.com” e-mail.
At the
bottom, it will have 2 blue boxes that say “download now” or
“download later”.
Double click
on download now and when you get a box that is named “Download
Manager”, next to the “save in” box, click the little down arrow and
save the file to your desktop. It
is much easier to retrieve. Then
click on “save”.
It will then
automatically download the file and a little box will pop up and tell you
the “file’s done”. Press the
“ok” button and now you are ready to get it from your desktop.
You can
“minimize” the aol screen by clicking on the little minus sign at the
upper right hand corner. It will
not shut off aol, but sort of hide it.
You should
now see your desktop and a little gray icon that says “pdf. Meats” or
whatever chart you have downloaded will be there.
Double click
on the icon. A box for “Adobe
Reader” should come up with an instruction and you just need to press “OK”. When you press OK, this should
open the file and you should be able to read the numbers.
If they are not readable, there is a little “plus” sign you can
press to enlarge the sheet.
If you want
to print the sheet, in the upper left hand corner, there is a word called
“file”. Press “file” and a
dropdown menu appears. Choose
“print” and follow the instructions.
This should print out the sheet for you.
You need to follow these instructions for each Technical Analytics file.
When you are done. You can
delete the files from your desktop by pressing the right button on your
mouse while the arrow is on the icon and you will get a menu of choices,
you can choose delete, answer yes and you have deleted the information.
